is there a remedy for this?

can i change the top part of my radiator, whats a good epoxy or substance that can fix this?

thanks in advance guys

prob easier and maybe cheaper to just buy new radiator, you prob could buy product to repair but i wouldnt trust it

if i totally delete the secondary supply of water would it be ok?

thanks iceman..the problem is brandnew radiators here cost a fortune...but if this doesnt get fixed then i have to buy new one =(

You need this reservoir. That's where the fluid goes when the pressure inside your radiator gets too big and from where it returns when the pressure drops.

right best thing to do is change teh rad, but if your tight for cash then find a thinwalled piece of metal tube that fits tightly inside the hole where its broken off and into the take off nipple and epoxy it up as a strong ish temporary repair

why dont you look for a second hand one ? have a look in you locar scrap yard im sure you can find one that isint to bad

i guess this is the thing that i should do while hunting for a new rad..

thanks for the help guys:nice:

this can be fixed. Sure its not going to be strong point,
but this part is never under pressure,
its just allowing over flow into the tank and back,
never under pressure. Use a true vulcanizing glue.

Go to your local plastic supply store.
