Anyone had experience of either and would like to give their opinion?

I only have 2000 km on the RE002 (195/50 R15) . I do some spirited driving and the grip is excelent on dry and wet. My buddy with a CRX did a track day at Hugaroring and he said that he was impressed of the amount of grip on cornering and braking ,tread wear is minimal ( 5000 km and a trak day).
RE002 are supposed to replace RE050 tyres.
Also a good feedback for the Nokian Z line on a Accord Type R

Thank you for your quick review! Im going to purchase a set tomorrow and think I will go for the RE002's!

@JDM_Dan , try to avoid the tyres older the 2013. The tyres may be fabricated in : Indonesia , Thailand , India and from late 2012 also in japan. This was to the last events in japan ( tsunami , earthquakes ) and the production was moved to those countries.

@ Kulo :Yes they do replace de RE001 tyre but to another level :) the RE002 and S001 series will replace the RE050 tyre.
The S001 will be focus on performance and exotic cars .
The RE002 will be more focused on less exotic cars like hot hatches and medium cars

How is RE002 vs Hankook RS2 anyone tried both?

I've been using RS2 for 3 years and i like them alot but these new Bridgestone have a nice price and that make me think..

Ive never used RS2s but heard alot of good things about them, where can I find them though?

@Tsuchinoko : Like JDM_Dan said , the RS2 are excellent tyres and they are on different league than RE002.
@ Cesare : come back with feedback after some xxxx miles :D
