Hi Lads and Ladies,

I've just had a delivery!

Ive got all the bits together to do my rear trailing arm swap with the 238mm VTI discs on so that I can replace the original EJ9 drums. New discs and overhauled calipers, with new bushes and some shiny new LCA's.

They are 4 stud hubs and will bolt on directly, i've already checked all the measurements so it should be an easy fit, assuming no bolts get sheared off when the time comes to strip off my current trailing arms.

Now the main point of my post...

The one thing I am a bit stuck on is the proportioning valve.. if anyone can answer the question....
1. Which proportioning valve do i need if the EJ9 one isnt the right one...
and also
2. Will I need an uprated or different brake master cylinder to the current EJ9 one, again which one will I need?

If someone can link me to a similar post, or just straight up tell me the answer I owe you big time.

Many thanks!

You are meant to use the proportioning valve from any rear disc civic without abs. Ideally find yourself a 1" ek9 master cylinder

Hi Dan, thanks for your reply.
Do you know if its just the master cylinder that I need or will I need the servo as well?

Just ths whole thing:

Including a proportioning valve like dan just said.

If your car is a facelift ek3 then you don't need to replace the brake cilinder because that is a 15/16 brake cilinder.

I had swapped a Vti rear disc conversion without replacing the valve of the booster lol. It went good but it is better to get a Vti of Ek9 Brake cilinder including booster.

You only need to change the prop valve if your removing your abs or fitting it to a car without it. The ek4/ek3 master cylinder will be fine.

Ellis I have the rear trailing arms with discs from a VTI with the ABS rings but I have no intention of using the ABS. The sensors are currently off the hubs, does that mean ill need to get the prop valve from a ek3/ek4 as well then?
