hey guys, i own an ek4 and a while ago since i had the ek4 i had the stock wheels with some kumho tires and for some reason the back left rear wheel always gets flat in like 2 or 3 days and has to be pumped. Now i got my new wheels and tires P1 buddyclub and toyo t1r wheels and for some reason the same wheel always gets flat too.

Well the thing is my garage's ground is abit unbalance and it has a little hill when parked into it where the rear left wheel is. I was thinking that shouldnt affect anything rite??? And some times i buy stuff at abt 200kg of cement and i put into the boot thats ok too right??? Ive checked both the tires the old one (before i sold them) and my new one there is no nail or any other sort.

i knew a civic that had this problem, it was taken for a structural inspection and it was found that the car had been crashed and repaired to a poor standard and that all the weight had been resting on the back left wheel, the wheel would always go flat.....

I was having a problem like this, but it was as simple as the valve's leaking air. Have that checked first just in case.

Thats more than likely it.. if your booting 200+kg in the boot and the tyre has a weak valve then it'll make it more pronounced..

Take a small balloon and put it on the valve overnight and see if it has ballooned in the morning.

You either have a nail in tire, small leak in tire, or cracked rim...

Well ima getting it checked tomorrow. But it cant happen on both rims and both tires (new and old tires). Ill try the balloon too see what happens. Today i pumped it up and i can hear air leaking but i dont knoe where i felt around the tube and look after for nails didnt find any. After a while it went flat i pump it again i didnt hear any leak sound but it went flat again anyways =S

rim leak around the bead or valve leaking. was the corrorsion (if any) removed from the inner rim where the tyre seals before fitting the new tyre?

Just put the wheel in a tub full of water and the leak you shall see.

To find leaks you can mix a solution of light soap and water, and put it in a spray bottle. Throw that corner of the car up in the air with the tire still on and spin and spray the tread. The leak will blow a bubble in the solution.
