Hi guys, just after some recommendations on rear pads really, had Dixcel extra speed in last time and I'm ready for new ones now. Using Carbone lorraine RC6 in the front and think they're awesome. Car is mainly used on track but with the odd blast in nice weather or to shows etc.

Thanks,
Matt.

I have hawk dtc-60 on the rear. Didnt really have a choice as i was at the ring when i needed them. All the guy had for one of these. Decent pads though.

You've had them ages lol! I will have a look at thsee though as you rate them:)).

Yeah ive had them a good 18months now. Still loads left on them aswell lol

Are the discs now 1mm thick lol!? Those dixcels I've got in have been in one year today funnily enough, done about 4k miles with 4 trackdays included and there's like 2mm left on them lol.

Surprisingly the discs are still ok actually. Clearly not trying hard enough

The discs are evem older than the pads are!

I blame low boost....
And having the bias abit too far forward. Locking the fronts at snet

ABS is the devil. Agreed on 1bar

Pedal feel is much improved. My abs was broken anyway, if i locked a front wheel it would hold it locked until the car stopped. Flatspotted an A048 at brands lol

I use project Mu 800's, they seem good so far. Lots of stopping power.

That sucks jesse!

Are they more aggressive than the NS400 as I've been looking at those?

Yeh they're more track focused compared to the ns800. Only thing I will say is that they do squeal a little driving on the road when braking at slow speed

Another Project Mu user here

Fronts are Project Mu HC+ rears are Project Mu NS400 - happy user of them, fairly accessible and budget friendly too (and if you're after the rears only, I think it's even cheaper) .

Have also use QFM A1RM pads, I think they're a bit noisy though (not that I mind, personal preference (in women also)).

Pmsl:D! I have been looking at project mu pads but was torn between the 400 and 800 version. I'll also have a look at the others youve used (the screamers).

I think the main/only difference between 400 and 800 is the temp rating of the pad.

Not sure about durability of the 400 since I only run them on the rear but the 800 didn't cook or feel like they were letting go on my track day. Probably did sessions of 15-16 laps at a time. Would vouch, again, thr a1rms are also pretty cool just that sort of stuff gets you unwanted attention here :p let us know how you go though
