i need some help if anyone can deliver aha

my car sits low at the front i knew the guy i bough it off and he said he never lowered it but the back is still standard hieght which causes some pretty awful camber on the rear, But the main problem is that when im driving the car on the roads here most of them country roads with lots of corners, when i corner it feels like the back end steps out, really dont have a clue what it is but it does my tits in its like something is loose somewhere.

any help is appreiciated greatly.

sounds like your RTA bushes are worn giving the sensation of rear wheel steering? whats wrong with the camber at normal ride height, just trying to gather more information?

That could well be it, Theres quite a fair amount of negative camber like a noticable amount i was thinking of buying camber adjustment arms for just now. Say if i was driving about 50 or 60 and gave the steering a slight turn to each direction it feels like the car floating about the road, Cheers for the advice il take alook at the bushes on saterday :)

there shouldnt be any negative camber if your rear suspension isnt lowered. due to its design lowering the rear suspension increases the camber of the wheels. you shouldnt need camber adjusters unless its mega low though. definitely sounds like your rta's are done though as its a common problem with civic's

The back hasnt been lowered its still at standard ride height, Thats why i thought that being low at the front and standard at the back might have caused the negative camber but il definately check the bushes on saterday morning man thanks alot its been bugging me since i got the car. It passed its last MOT so i never thought about the bushes, Thanks again,

Agree there. When I saw your Civic I actually thought you adjusted the camber on the rear. One of my RTA bushes was shot on my civic when I got it, got the same feeling going round loch eck also mate and had some stupid amount of camber on the left rear wheel.. As above would probably check those, I replaced both of them..good as new now and its not expensive to replace the bushes either, pain in the arse changing them though :angry2: :p
