Alright Ladies & Gents !

In need of a little help about registering my new CL1 from southern Ireland.
I flew over on Wednesday to Dublin and done the jailbait drive back up to Scotland only insured on the VIN number.
Now that i've got it home, i've completed the NOVA (Notification of Vehicle Arrival) on the Government website to begin the registration process with the DVLA. I have the v55/5 paperwork to fill out and the Irish registration document to help with some of the details.
The problem i'm having just now is that i only have about 15 out of 51 questions completed due to not having a ''Certificate of conformity'' to my knowledge its only european cars that have this. the advice sheet for the V55/5 for most questions says ''Get information from Certificate of Conformity'', what a headache ! ive managed to pull some details off the internet such as wheelbase, length, width etc but im still around 35 questions short before i can go hand this into the DVLA. can anyone give me any advice or even better anyone with a registered CL1 able to share any details listed on their V5 for example '' question 35 - C02 g/km '' any details or advice would be greatly appreciated !
Basically have everything but this filled out and the MOT is Booked for Wednesday....

When I did this around 3 years ago I didn't fill much out on the forms for the dvla. I took them into the office and the lady filled out the bits I missed that needed to be done but she also left a fair bit of it blank and said it's fine.

I'm going through this myself now, got a Integra 3 weeks ago but haven't started filling the forms in yet. Last time I didn't have to do the NOVA last time though.

Brilliant ! There is a DVLA office in Edinburgh so i will go in with all the paperwork once i have the MOT certificate and the new registration book from Ireland. Yeah the NOVA i didn't have a clue about, best get it filled out online as soon as. They can issue a penalty if not done in time, its supposed to be done before bringing the car over but i done it after and lied about the date it came over by a day and wasn't told id have to pay a penalty.

Last I checked the DVLA office closed man? Do you mean the one at the Gyle? Pretty sure they work everything out of Swansea now...

Aye Rippu , so the one at the gyle is closed is it ? Thats gonna put me back a while. Sending an unfinished sheet isnt gonna cut it. il need to phone them up and see what the crack is. Im starting to hate this process more as the days go by.

Yeah man, closed a few years back. Doing anything with them is just a pain in the arse!

What you have got on there should be fine. It is only new cars that require all the other stuff to be filled in.
Should take about two weeks hear back from the DVLA, although they say between two and four weeks.

I tried to do the NOVA online application last night, got through the whole thing and when submitting, it just said the service is not available :(.
I filled out the forms for the DVLA and I also have filled in just as much as you, I'm going to go into the DVLA as Swansea with that and see how I get on.

Let me know how you get on with that, the NOVA was a total pain in the backside, i had to start over twice.

This is what I had to do. Delete my draft and start from the beginning again. It has gone through fine now so going to take my forms Into the DVLA this week. Will let you know how I get on with the amount I have filled in on there forms mate

Have you sorted this with the dvla yet? I went to take my forms to the Swansea office that I went to last time I done it. Turns out its closed down :(
