Release bearing or input shaft bearing

When the car is in neutral I can hear a winning noise, when I press the clutch fully down it stops. Also when I reverse I can hear a loud winning noise and when I switch the car off I can hear something rattle like there is a knackered engine mount that knocks but engine mounts are solid.
Is it the clutch release bearing or the input shaft bearing

Sounds like the same issue I have, I have been advised that its most likely the input shaft bearing.

I had the same issue. Replaced the input shaft bearing and now there's no sound anymore.
If you haven't fixed it, and plan to DIY as I did, these are the two parts you need.

Seal and bearing.
