Hi guys, need your help once again :)

I got what seems to be an OEM Japanese 1xDIN Pioneer Radio (in gold color) in my EK9. sadly it isn't like the usual DIN radio possible to remove it with those hooks. so i wonder how i get it removed.

problem is the JDM radio has other frequency blocks for the radio so the only radiostation i get in is a classic radio station and well, tanabe exhaust and Johan Sebastian Bach do make a great Crescendo together but it's not what i need while riding long ways :)

thank you for your help and advice.

best regards

oh dear, this looks really hardcore, i thought i really can remove it simple as any aftermarket radio.. but ok.. i'll wait for a reply that makes me more lucky, otherwise i think my garage will have to do the work (Due to lack of time..) :D

anyway, thanks for your help, great link.

Trust me, its not that bad. All the bits come off easy and go on quick too.

HI Guys.

ok, i just started removing the parts like described in the Link above. well it seems to work fine. BUT: how the heck can i remove those two clips in right beside the steering console (two clips on the top of the dash below the steering wheel). i managed to remove al screws and clips except those two (And of course those under this dash :D). it seems you need a screwdriver or something to remove those clips, but i dont want to destroy anything so i thought i'll ask you guys first. otherwise it seems to work fine :)

thanks for your fast replies

I just pulled them off, mine were stiff but they just clip off.

but how do i pull them off? just pull hard on the dash? are you sure i don't will break any clips or clip-mounts? sorry for my dumb questions, im doing this my first time :)

well, i got it of. now next problem (Sorry for asking all the time :D) :
i have all the panels and screws of. now the EK9 radio is a single-DIN radio mounted in a double-din dash. in the lower din-slot there is a black plastic case, in the upper one the single-DIN radio. now im not sure how to get it out there.. i can't see where it's exactly mounted (with screws?) there seems to be kind of a frame or something underneath the radio, but im really not sure how to get it out there. do i need to remove the plastic case first??
Edit: I can see 4 screws from underneath but none of them is directly mounted to the readio, all of them seem to be connected to that frame or something.. im a bit confused..
