[Request] Top end speed video

:bow: This is a request if anyone has access to a track or whatever.. i wanna see what a stock Ek9 can do with limiter off.. top end wise.. in MPH preferably.. i have heard its supposed to be disapointing.. :nerv:

Just wondering, but is 0-60 and top speeds all you care about and why you want an EK9? If it is, maybe best get a turbo car or maybe a faster car..save you a lot of money that way...
 
Nah its not what i car about i want an EK9 my mind is made up they are nice car and as far as i have heard they handle great, and also look awesome the 0-60 is fine.. im just wondering about top end speed is all.. i like to do LOT's of Research
 
i'll see what i can do, but it will take some time, i haven't bought my camera yet :(
 
as long as its not longer then a month... as i will be driving one myself :D haha :p thanks thought for whatever you can do..
 
Thought you guys might like to know that theres a video of a EP3 going up to 270kms with M3 and RS4. I'll post it up in videos section.
 
on a private road lol, ive seen 150-155 mph in my mates ek9 ,but ive never took mine that far lol, on speedo and GPS as well, speedo was'nt that far out only about 4-5 mph out from GPS
 
yep on my airfield ive done 155mph + too im my car and my apache gunship lol "RoflCopter FTW!"

how do u no if the speedo is in kmph?
 
i know ive hit vtec in 5th gear and i was going WAY to fast to look down, i believe it can do 140+mph.
 
Of course it can do 140+ my stock ek4 vti can go off the clock at 145!

I have a video of that if anyone cares for it but it wont be as good as an EK9 vid!!!!
 
My yellow needle :) reaches the "R" at around 205 km/h, revving at 7500-7800 rpm with 5th gear when the speed limiter is activated. Actually, the straight where I'm testing the car was able to take me up to 180 km/h before the mods. Now I have the impression that it can go well above the 225 km/h stock EK9 top speed if I remove the limiter!!!:wow:

There ya go - car is over fueling (thats why the engine light is on) used to get there alot faster but i'm replacing the sensor 2moro! Its just touching 145mph.
 
my old VTi saw that many times lol needle pointing right down, we guestimated over 150mph
