Right so I have just swapped out my gearbox for a new one unfortunately on fitting I have now noticed that one of the wires that goes to the reverse sensor switch in the gearbox has broken right next to the connector meaning I can't solder it back up.

If I unbolted the wiring from the gearbox to fit a replacement is anything going to fall out inside the box? (Picture of the cable in question on its way soon)

It has a bolt type fitment that screws into the gearbox, pretty sure this is reverse sensor but is anything Likly to fall off if we unbolt it and swap them over?

Cheers Jesse. Yeah as he said under the black boot in the second pic is a nut if we unbolted it what happens anyone know?

Box is allready drained so should be OK there. Was just worried about the pin inside the box don't want it dropping down into my gears. Have you tried it?
