does anyone know what these evil people can enforce, if they put down silly tiny cones and you park where you shoudn't, ( which in my defense is near enough the whole street ). I think its 24/7 motorway maintinance thats doing the work. So far all they have done is hit a water pipe and soak themselves and my car in the process. but people are saying works like fine and towing !

I hear, they can put your car in a compound? Where you'd need to pay to get it back?
If you park inside the area with small no parking cones. This also happens on match days, events outside big football grounds etc like Hampden park. So even local residents can't park their car until the event is over when the wardens take the cones away. I'm guessing it's the same with roadworks, with the cones.
