While I already had a few bits removed it made sense to remove the gearbox and swap out the noisy release bearing.
As usual it turned into more jobs! Along with cleaning up the filth I pained the slave cylinder and filled the gearbox mount with some polyurethane.
Ordered fresh bolts for the exhaust manifold as they had seen much better days
Also cleaned up some other areas of the bay.
Took the cover off the other day and made sure I could still choose gears and that it would move under its own power. Thankfully it was fine.
