rocker cover and strut brace

when ive bought my ek9 the rocker and the strut brace is prety oily not tryed properly to clean yet but whats best way buy new ones or try clean it or spray it any ideas??

to get the muck etc off use gunk, available at halfords, its a very good de greaser. Funkypower do a good range of new covers. I'd suggest keeping an eye on the for sale section as there are covers and struts popping up on there quite often as well.
