rough start

i notice lately that when i click my key to start engine, the engine is very rough you have to press gas pedal otherwise it will idle very low at apprx 4rpm, whats the problem, tip of 2 spark plug 3&4 is colored black

My car did that after beeing left unmoved for 2 weeks or more, or as my cat begun to need replacement.

Can you take a spark plug out and see if it has gasoline?

Do you have a aftermarket fuel regulator ?

What type of fuel do you use? Do you used another fuel recently ?

I had the same issue as you when I used Vpower on my ek9.

that v power seems to be causing quite a few probllems with cars near me as well - especially vti civics ( i know of 2 that wern't right with it )

What octane is Vpower fuel? Is it better to use other high octane fuel? There is a shell petrol station basicly right next to me so its easy to get vpower fuel.
