Scam car tax site (Warning).

Just checking out the whole online car tax procedure. And I think there is a "Fake" website which seems to built up very similarly to the DVLA site.

Fake?:

Note the "Not affiliated or connected with DVLA OR GOV.UK".

Real:

https://www.taxdisc.direct.gov.uk/EvlPortalApp/app/relicence?execution=e1s1

Just a heads up, went through it a little and thought it doesn't feel right.

its not dvla official....the whole giveaway is on the right hand side of the banner where it says.....

"not affiliated or connected with DVLA or GOV.UK"

I've emailed DVLA about it so hopefully, IF it isnt legit (never know!) then they will sort it out before someone gets scammed.

Good job! The poor navigation/operation of the site and the fact the address bar didn't have a green section to notify it's secure? Made me try google again! Also the it's googles top search result for "car tax online" but it's classified as an ad.
