do skunk 2 pro 1 cams need increase in compression or do they work with stock type r pistons and rods,this is b18c type r

They'll work, but if you raise your compression you'll get better results.

I'm running a set on my stroked b16b, and I definitely need more compression, my goal is to get around 11.5 - 11.6 compression, so I can get better results.

With stock cams = 170 whp and 120 lb/ft of torque
with pro 1 cams = 177 whp and 120 lb/ft of torque

Running hondata s300, dyno located 6000 feet above sea level

It was 177 whp not 170 after cams, sorry
