Skunk2 - Desperately Seeking Exhaust!

after waiting for a month for my Skunk2 MegaPower R exhaust to come in more my Civic. i was told by the shop that Skunk2 is still giving the ship time as another 2 WEEKS! mind you thats what they said 2 weeks ago.
my shop is offering me another alternative in a 60mm N1 exhaust from a company called Invidia at a reduced price. i thought they only made video cards or am i thinking about another company.
i have never heard of this Invidia before and need some help. Should i buy the generic knockoff Skunk2 exhaust or should i just take a bullet and wait another 2 weeks?

Invidia, isn't that a rare exhaust and it is suppose to be quality?

invidia makes excellent exhaust products and they look very similar, you should be happier with either one invidia is very popular with subaru cars.

don't like the invidia that much. they where produced by RS*R in japan before but now it's a US-Company that produces their items in japan by a different manufacturer i think. anyway RS*R is now a separate company that toes really good and best-sounding-exhausts i've ever heard. but anyway, there are badder exhausts than the invidia i think. i had a skunk2 for a customer here. my delivery time from US was 2 weeks, directly from skunk2 faccility...

as long as an exhuast systme is stainless steel, straight through and mandrel bent i just cant see how one could be better than the other unless your talking about sound or looks.

there can be different materials inside the dampers, different pipe-routing, different piping-sizes, more or less mountig parts included, different welding quality etc.. fore sure the differences are only small but in my sight it's worth to compare.
wel also a friend had some cheap exhausts here who had to long mufflers and where about 10cm longer than the car on his celica (no of the brands we where talking about above..)

the other day i called skunk2 personally and they said that my exhaust in on backorder. other customers in front of me and i have 2 wait. my question is how long is too long?
