Smoking

Hi guys,

Put ma 9 on a rolling road the other day. During each run you couldn't help but notice the blue smoke bellowing out of the exhaust. I was very suprised as i'v never noticed it before! It is ovioutly burniong oil. Is it purly down to the piston rings being worn? What else could it be and n e one know how much it is to get new ones and then fit them.

Could be your valve stem seals. could also be because you put NOS on it!

Dull one mate! Probably your valve stem seals are away or the piston rings like you say but am not too clued up on that. Not too expensive or hard a job to do to sort it though mate! good luck!

What bhp did you get ? have you done a compression test on the engine ? whats the milage ? also what oil do you use ?
