Hi, i fitted some spoon calipers to my rally car in january running DS3000 pads and Castrol SRF fluid, very happy with the performance and they never fade, despite some proper abuse.
The car now has an annoying rattle, which after fitting the calipers and going straight to an event i thought was a suspension knock, and has taken me for ever to realise it the DS3000 pads rattling around !!!

when i drive with the brakes on the noise dissapears

As the spoons or the DS3000's have no clips is there any way of stopping the noise, as it drives me mad on road sections, i realise its not doing any harm but i would prefer it not to be there so i can hear if anything is getting loose or wearing out.

any clips available ?

cheers

I had the same issue with Spoons / DS pads. Just put a few small spot welds on the top edge of pad then filed down to correct size. Only took about 1hr.
Dunx

I saw a guy before cut down the large anti rattle clip that goes in standard ek9 calipers and put them in his spoons to stop them rattling. Theres a thread about it on here some where
