Rare parts determine high pricing................. no matter how good they look.

Could have been the last piece of the puzzle for someone building a Spoon themed car or likes but still a fair amount to throw at a cluster.

Rediculous... better putting your money into spoon parts that will enhance performance rather than buying a cluster!

How do you know what spec the buyers car is already?
Not backing up spending this sort of cash but the person could have a monster build and this part could be the icing on the cake as such.

Good point and I agree that it could be the final part in the puzzle for a epic build, but just me as a person couldn't part with that amount for a cluster that does nearly the same job as a ek9 one! just my opinion!

$4000 is roughly £2655 according to an app on my phone.
I built my engine for far less than that, infact you could build my engine and buy most of the turbo kit for that.
Hope his/her engine can do 11k RPMs and 240kph, seems abit silly otherwise.

I built my Civic with Spoon parts, as many of you know, I was looking for a cluster actually but tbh, never found one and when I did, the guy sold it, its stupid how much they go for, especially when Spoon never ever sold it for that much haha, 4 times or 5 times less, maybe.

As someone has said, could have been the last puzzle on a car, and fair enough, I wouldn't have had the mindset to pay that much tbh, though I would loved to have had it once, it is a rare item though so demand goes up and so does the price, and Spoon is not just items with Spoon written on it, their products are actually great.

Best thing though is the guy who bought it can sell it for the price he bought it at or maybe more.

Fair play... If money is no object, and you are a bit spoon mad, then why not!

What is or isn't a waste of money comes down to personal choice. Most people think it's crazy spending thousands on old cars. Hell I've spent nearly 10k on CDs and music downloads in the last 5 years, when so many people download it for free...

A cool purchase nonetheless.

Wtf, $4,000? Is this a wind up?

As much as I like Spoon for their dedication towards Honda, the only stuff I'd buy is their strut braces, dampers and springs. Their prices are mostly absurd.

And Spoon clusters look **** anyway.

I'm surprised nobody's typed the buyer's name into Facebook. I suggest you do - they car it looks like it'll be fitted to will surprise everybody on here no doubt!
It already has SW388's and spoon/nissin calipers. Along with a few other bits and pieces...

Wow, didn't expect that! :D Whatever rocks his/her boat tho. Also, I wonder how long would it take for the SW388 spare wheel to disappear in Glasgow lol
