im planning to install the spoon monoblock with 300mm disc on my dc2.Im on sw388 16x7x offset 45.How big a spacer do i need to get and do i need extended wheel screw nuts...been searching. Is 3mm enough for the spacer,i dont wanna get a 3mm and in the end its need 5mm?Anyone,please

i dont think you will get away with 3mm. i would say 10mm to be safe and with that your going to need extended wheel nuts.

I thought with spoon brakes they only worked with standard discs like 282mm?

May be wrong but am away to buy a set and thats what ive been told

i have spoon twinblocks on my dc2, and need a 5mm spacer to run them with standard wheels (15") the spokes are very close to the caliper though. with the monoblocks, they are a different design, but spoon do a 3mm spacer so this may be the reason they do it?? i would ring spoonsportseurope and tell them about your set up, maybe they can help as you are running on spoon wheels.
