the spoon progressive springs 51400-EKA-001 how much do they lower the car by? as it states it lowers but doesnt state how much. thanks

i have them fitted over a yr and as stated above, front tyres will ware before however handling WILL be improved....

these r progressive springs which jst drop the ek 20mm & they r produced for original suspension!!! :nice:

The tires though will wear out faster

why? are you thinking the 20mm drop will increase negative camber thus wearing out the tires prematurely? if so then first i must say that such a minimal drop of 20mm should affect camber in such a minimal way that it wouldent matter and second even if it did, camber dosent really wear out tires that much, its bad toe that ruins tires, ive run R compoud tires with -1.5 degrees camber for over a year with proper toe and they lasted :nice:

When I say wear for 2 cm lowered of course I do not refer to extreme wear, what I mean is that the inner side of the tire will feel a bit more pressure and the wear will not be the same as before, perhaps will be only negligible :nice:

the harder the ride, the harder it will be on the tyres... its the norm. :)

from a epople that have seen or experienced with these sprins... just wanted to ask the drop difference on the front and rear :)
or is both 20mm?
thanks

Are these much firmer than stock? Mines not a daily drive, how do you rate these springs? Dont want to get coilovers at this time. Probably going to get a camber kit front and rear for the track also, what else would you add?

I have had spoon progressive springs on my ek9 and they are very good, lower the car around 20mm and improve handeling ,but i have tanabe pro ss coilovers on the ek9 now :woot:

I'm thinking about spoon progressive springs for my '9 made my mum get christmas stuff from spoon europe so i'm hopeful
