Changed to EBC Grooved Discs on the Front with Red stuff Pads that were on the Standard discs before hand but had loads of Meat left on them!

Started off Fine did a half Track Day and I think its Drivers side but its making a Scratching Noise as if ur coming to the end of the pad but Im not!

Copper Grease was Freshly put on still Squeaking.

Can anything else make a Squeaking noise other then the Disc or Pad like a Damaged Ball joint or Sumthing?

Any help would be Great! :nice:

Is it a constant squeeking/scratching sound? If so have you checked the disc isnt touching the backplate?

Also is the surface of the pads smoothe? No groves or ridges from the old discs?

Yea whenever you start moving!

I will have to double check both! thanks for the Advise

I had this on my mums Mitsubishi Colt, it turned out to be te metal shims were slightly touching the disk when i put new pads on it. Took the pads back out, moved the shims back and all was good after that.

Is there a lip on the disc ? Or a chamfer on the edges of the pads ?

I wouldnt use copper grease as its a mild abrasive and gets worse as brake dust mixes with it! Put the pads in dry
