standard headunit

how do you remove the standard headunit i have had a wee look about it but i cant see any holes to put the pins in :confused:

You have to strip the dash down, will take about an hour to take out plus replace. Look under head unit removal in the search bar at the top, theres a post that shows you how to remove it.

i have already done the search that but i cant find it i seen the post along time ago :((
 
Well on my ITR you have to remove the centre consols and handbrake covers, then get behind the headunit and undo 1 or 2 bolts which are connected to the back of the headunit.

Yours might be the same, might not?

When you replace it the new one does not have to be put in the same way as the new one does not have to bolted in ????
 
cheers guys looks like alot of work just to fit a band expander for my radio:shocked:

Its hard the first time! Right now I'm kinda of a expert on removing radios :)
