Aftermarket steering wheel, I have a snap off boss going into a OMP steering wheel.
I can't get the horn to work, the wire inside of the boss is connected to the steering wheel.
I tried touching a wire onto the back of the metal boss and it just goes off on me? I was going to create something that is bolted to the steering column that is metal and make it touch there rear of the boss with it connected to the horn wire. But this just sets it off before I even touch the horn?

any ideas?

Either your horn button is faulty and stuck on or it's earthing out inside the boss
