???stock wire gauge???

Real quick, does anyone know the gauge and type of wire used in the engine harness? I'm going to extend some wire here and there to clean things up... also .... a twist, solder, and heat shrink is the best connection, 2nd to no splicing at all correct?! Thanks you guys

You're right about a twist, solder & heatshrink being the best connection. I'm not sure what you mean about '2nd to no splicing at all', but I wouldn't use any other method when it comes to extending your wiring - do it once, do it right.

Sweet, what I meant was that bar none its better to have no splicing at all, but if you really had to; twist, solder, and heat shrink , is the next best thing (2nd) hahaha.

Still, does anyone know what gauge the stock wiring is on an engine harness? And is there a special kind that I should know about before I go out and buy what looks closest to what I'm dealing with? Hahahaha thanks everyone in advance and to those who have helped! Without forums the import/ car / everything scene would not be as good as it is now! Hahaha
