Stripping interior loom

Yeah I worked from ghe rear last time, then cocked it up before I got the fuse box and stopped lol
Wiring loom runs from the pas door right round to the drivers side. Pretty sure the vast majority of that is useless to me aswell.

Picture of the radio plug as promised!

I've got the adapter loom that goes onto this to allow uk style after market radio plugs to be fitted.
I used the radio loom to make a nice loom for my gauges.
But just cut out the speaker wires.

I guess you want to cut the speaker wires out of the original plug?

I could just cut the power wires at the plug, remove the whole plug and speaker wires, then solder/crimp my gauges into them.

True less weight the better.

As much for keeping it neat aswell tbh.
I want the wires neat, had enough of it all over the place lol

I ran my gauges from a live while cranking feed,

I've used the radio feeds before but it annoyed me as the gauges wouldn't read while cranking and then when the engine started the gauge would go through its power up cycle all over again

Mine are pretty basic gauges tbf, I'm not overly worried about the engines condition whilst cranking now that the engines built and working.

It's more about the fact the gauges were going on off on off every time, it was just annoying as it cycled through a process of beeping, flashing, sweeping and showing peak pressure,

Enough to drive you mad!

Yeah that's annoying lol
My saga gauges used to do that, they've all broke now bar one. That's going when the budget allows

Oh right that's fair enough.
Like Jesse my gauges are basic, mine run on the radio ignition feed.
