Here we have for sale my partners BMW 1 series registered in late 2009, we have had it for two years now and are only looking to change to a newer model. We have 3 BMW's in the household and wouldn't have anything different, they are fantastics cars this being no exception.
Its a 116d which is the 2.0 diesel engine, brilliant little engine. Its took us all around the UK the last few years. We tend to take the 1 series as its so good on fuel, regularly achieves 60mpg on runs. Having 'stop start' 6 speed gearbox and various other fuel saving devices helps no end. Road tax is only £30 per year due to being extremely environmentally friendly and good on fuel.
It drives faultlessly and still like new! We have never had an issue at all, other than service items and consumables its cost us nothing and I'm sure it will continue that way.
Body work is better than most of its age due to me regularly washing and waxing the vehicle, I'm a bit of perfectionist with my own car so it gets passed on to this also however the other half does use it for work and commutes on the motorway so there is a few minor age related marks, being a black car this is exaggerated also as its much more noticeable but you'll struggle to find any thing for the money like this.
We bought the car from a main dealer, it was the dealership managers wife's prior to that and she had just traded it in and it was in stunning condition we couldn't refuse it. It had just had a full service and a few perishable items replaced before we collected it. Since then I've serviced and maintained the vehicle myself and anything that needed doing has been done.
The interior is pretty much immaculate and the back seats have barely been sat in. It has a parrot aftermarket bluetooth kit, and all the usual BMW extras like aux port and steering wheel controls, board computer etc etc..
The MOT expires in October this year but ill happily put a full years test on for the new owner. Its just had 4 new tyres last month also. Tax is irrelevant due to new DVLA selling rules but its only £30 for the year anyway.
Any inspections welcome, Any questions or request for further pictures if you are far away thats no problem, milage me rise ever so slightly as still used for work but the pictures were took today 25/09/2015 and the milage can be seen on the dash.
Cash only please and no part exchange, we will be using the money off this to go towards a brand new 1 series.
