Subframe on EK9

Guys i been told that EK9 subframes like ASR/BLACKWORKX wont fitt on a EK9 but will only fitt on a EK4.

Is that true befor ei go ahead and buy one.
 
You don't need one mate. The EK9 is gifted from factory with a reinforced rear subframe due to the fact that it has a larger rear anti roll bar than the EK4. If you plan on installing an EK9 anti roll bar on an EK4, then you will need one.
 
I came across the same situation, i nearly ordered one and realised that it isnt needed or niether fits on the 9. I only wanted it for bling puprposes but never mind :)

Im sure someone had a thread on here and tryed to fit it and found it never, then tried it on a jordan and it did or something along them lines.

Personally ill just be getting some funky lca's and a beaks bar :D

If your car is an EK9 then you dont need it and yes, it wont fit.
 
removed my Asr subframe brace from my Ek sedan before i sold it. tried to install on my ek9 and it wont fit.
