Swift springs> Tein Springs

I have a Tein FLex in my EK4, the suspension was designed for a 2 door instead of a 4 door. STandard is 9K FR and 5 K R, in the car it handles sluggish and the rear sinks in corners getting worse as you add people..it is a 4 door after all.

I tried Tein 7K and 8K in the rear..very harsh and bumpy, then I tried SWIFT 8K...wow what a difference in feel. It stands like a 8K and does not sink when cornering, and smooth enough for comfort.
I rate these springs very high - much higher than Tein replacement ones.

Now with 9K front and 8K rear the cornering is very good with a little rear movement to help turn in and none of the bouncy harshness of the Tein springs. So folks not all springs are the same even if the same KGMM..

ive always liked swift springs, never tried them but everything ive read has made me favour their product, only problem is their very expensive and not so easy to get hold as other manufacturers

im thinkin of ordering custom set from swift but problem i have is i may need to order about 3 sets before i find write setup/balance for me and my car and wouldnt be cheap so may end of just ordering another brand thats cheaper

There coilover springs are great but there regular drop springs SUCK!!! I had them on my civic back when the first came out, i paid freakin $320 for them and the car was hardly lowered and was very uneven

Nearly US$200 a pair.

OK I took it for a spin and found the rear was 20mm too high and was front heavy...adjusted them...much much better. Round corners you can feel the rear turn in which is great for fast cornering.

Recommended to anyone who can get them.
