Tanabe Concept G??

Im thinking of getting this exhaust, mostly because you the style of the tip and 93dl rating on it.

Thou im wondering from experiences of anyone who has this system wether they are any good?

And also wether there is something better out there for around the same price of about £600?

i had a tanabe on my ek4, very very loud lad, was too loud it done my head in in the end

lol the one im getting is said to be 93db all the way throught the rev range so it shouldnt be too loud

was going to go for a buddy club but decided against it as alot of people are saying they arent very well built and i dont think id be able to put up with the loudness!
 
naw lad epecially with only 5 gears, motorway driving would do your head in in an ek with a loud system, i find it the exhaust is too loud it kills the crossover sound!
 
I had that system with custom de-cat on my 9. It was spot on for me, nice and reserved until you gave it some then you really heard it.

Definitely not as loud as the Tanabe SMR on my CRX!!!

i had concept G on my hatch and loved it, it is quiet for the most part but kind of drones in the throttle, it was on a D series at the time tho, could sound alot better with a B series
 
I don’t mate sorry, sold the car at the end of last year - try youtube or somewhere maybe for a bit of an idea?

Personally I would definately recommend it, and hope to be putting the same system on another car come the summer.
 
I have the tanabe concept G, mine goes from the manifold back and is therefore very loud. maybe because i've a ss mani as well but its definately not under 93db at certain parts of the rev range. I love the note it makes especially when hitting the vtec but it can be boomy on long journeys. :)) Got it a year ago for about £550 from funkypower i think! you could probably get a second hand spoon or mugen line somewhere for a similar price but i cant fault the tanabe thusfar.

i ran a super medallion system on my old ek, awesome bit of kit, not overly loud due the large back box either

I had a Tanabe SMR on my old EK. It is by far the best quality exhaust I've had, this is comparing to Spoon, Apexi, Mugen, J's racing.

Am very tempted by this Concept G exhaust. Anyone know the pipe diameter?
