Ok so here's the low down

1996 Honda Civic CX (lowest end/lightest model, like a CTR with a crappy engine and a crappy suspension)
Rare Midori Green Pearl OEM paint found only on North American 1996 Civic CX and DX Hatchbacks (well everything but the front bumper and hatch door)
B16A2 Engine swap (from a 99 Civic Si)
AEM Short Ram Intake
Exedy Stage 1 Racing Clutch
Clutch Masters light weight Flywheel (7lbs I think)
Muffler shop exhaust with a no name eBay fart can (on there when I bought the car)
H&R OE Sport Springs
99-00 Taillights
Blacked out head lights
Password JDM replica JDM Yellow Square Foglights (Depo)
Replica J's Racing Carbon Fiber lip
EM1 (99-00 Civic Si) Center console with armrest
EJ1 (93-95 Civic EX Coupe) Shift knob and shift boot (from my old car)
EJ8 (96-00 Civic EX) Gauge cluster with amber backlights
1997 Integra GS-R/98-01 Integra LS 15x6" Mesh Wheels

and the ultimate mod:

TomTom One GPS (I have no idea where I'm going outside of my home town 90% of the time)
 
Does the EJ6 not bring a stock upper front strut brace like EK9 /EK4?

u will feel a stiffer front & benefit frm imporved handling... they bolt on 5 min & work! :blinx:
 
No US 96-00 Civic came with a Strut bar except the EM1. Honda and Nissan shafted the US good. Neither company sent any good stuff to us (only 3 cars with with VTEC B-Series, and no turbo S13/S14's for us). I almost had an EM1 strut bar in it but the guy I was gonna buy it from, his girlfriend accidentally drove over it and ruined it.
 
I dont recall the Si's (em1's) having a strut bar from factory. Alot of my friends have the Sis and they had to purchase them seperately if im not mistaken. And yea, we in the US got shafted so bad with all the good stuff. You get the R we get an SI, you get the Skyline, we get an infiniti g35, you get the hot silvias, we get the crappy silvias, we dont even have the nice Ae86s, we have crappy corollas. US sucks when it comes to cars.
 
Maybe it was an option?

The only time a Japanese car company didn't shaft the US was the Mk.IV Supra from Toyota. If I'm not mistaken, we got the 300HP 2JZ-GTE before they did or at least the same time.

oh nice one Techy...are you gonna change the muffler? cause that thing is not angle properly i think...
 
It was like that when I got it. I wanna swap it out for a Buddy Club Pro Spec Catback but I ain't got the cash. Actually a lot of catbacks come angled like that. I don't believe the Buddy Club does (thank god). I want mine to come out straight like my old car.

buddy club is nice.... i got a Skunk2 catback exhaust and its straight too..i think one of the best angled exhaust that i saw was Blinx car...it was angled nicely...:nice:
 
Update!

Authentic JDM EK9 Shift Boot in place
Temporary AP2 Honda S2000 Shift knob

Soon to be installed:
Skunk2 Shift Knob
New DIY Blackout USDM Headlights (already have a set in horrible shape, new set is in far better shape)
New OEM grille (current one has the actual frickin grille cut out)

Pic of the car the grill and headlights are coming off of (I may just snag them fogs too cause of how little he wants for them)

As the poor thing sits now. He's rebuilding with a crap ton of new stuff and a new engine.

This guy is also friends with my car's previous owner. The previous owner also happens to the bass player in a Grammy nominated band (Paramore).

I think he's gonna drop a K in there. It used to have a ITR in it but it was fubared pretty bad by a crap machine shop.
 
Well, CRAP!!! Weksos has my Skunk2 Knob back ordered 3-4 weeks so I'm getting it from a local shop who's owner is on TennSpeed. He says he can get it by Thursday and I get a Discount. Awesome.

I didn't get the grille after all. I might get it later but I left it out cause I can't paint it now.
 
looking better..! :nice:

get urself a front upper strut brace... noticeable difference with 4 simple bolts! :)
