Ek9turbo & all who helped, my car is now finally running again after waiting for new parts:nice::nice::nice:it was either the ICM or the coil but i changed both and she started on first turn of the key:nice:
 
think i may get a spare ICM and keep it in the car,, anyone got any pics of the coil too?

actually, i have a whole spare dizzy,cap,coil & ICM, just no rotoe arm:nice: £50
 
which one of your parts aint working though?!?!? or did you buy 2 new ICM`s?
 
to cut a VERY long story short, i have 3 Icm's, 1 in the car now, one other working unit and a foooked one:nice:

You got voltage through the coil so that will be fine, its pretty rare to have a coil wear out within 200k.miles. The ICM was the problem.

Did you endup buying through the dealership then? and howmuch??
 
no i bought new through a company, got sent the wrong one, sent that back, then bought a b18 dizzy (whole thing, second hand) then got sent a new pukker icm !!!!LOL ive got ICM's everywhere
