The Falken RT-615, Hankook RS2, Bridgestone RE-11, Toyo R1R have all been bested..

yes, 15% of total will be vat, handling charge (varies but id guess about £25) and duty (not sure what this is)

Can't we do something with shipping by container to the UK and avoiding taxes that way and saving a lot on shipping?

Dixon Cheng (ProRacer on itr-dc2) was talking about the possibility of organising a group buy and shipping them by sea on a container but it would need to be 80 tyres MINIMUM and would take about 3 months to reach the UK I believe he quoted.

80 tyres, thats like, 20 cars of tires. Should be achievable if we do it together with ek9.org and itr-dc2 I think :) Got a link to the topic?

achievable but i wouldnt be willing to wait 3 months (in winter so above mentioned tyres wouldnt be that great, these are tyres you want to run i summer and make most of driving your car)

Just got an email from Nengun saying they have updated their website and now lists the RE-11.

£94.35 for 1 x RE-11 195/50 R15

So 4 x 195/50 R15 £377.39
PayPal Fees £33.94
EMS Shipping £411.81
Total £823.14 :wow:

205/50 R15 is listed incorrectly £11.25 lol

Bridgestone - Potenza - RE-11 - Nengun Performance

So its cheaper to buy them from Tire Rack in the USA! That means its cheaper for them to be manufactured in Japan, shipped to the USA then to the UK cheaper than it is to buy them direct from Japan?

Maybe worth a try in december/january?

They wouldn't be that bad surely? Living in the UK SUCKS lol

not saying bad but not ideal tyres to run in winter (you wont see potential on road only on a track in winter), i have run such tyres in winter but was extra careful as very difficult get any kinda heat in them
