Had somebody I know pop round yesterday. He is somebody I know quite well but never really get to see that much.
I ended up with him and his brother in my EK9 for a quick visit to the cash point. Neither of them have ever been in an old skool vtec. Once the car had warmed up I took them on a bit of a drive and opened the taps a bit. 20 mins after I'd dropped them off I received this message... felt I had to share it..

Mate that was an amzing experience Im glad you done that. You put a smile on mine and my bros face. Im litterally looking on the internet now and want to build a project. I wish you had taken me out a lot sooner just so I realised what those engines are about, ******* amazing. My mrs left me after 4 years last week which left me gutted as it does. I've felt **** since but amazing what a spin in an EK can do, took my mind right off it. Was just what I needed. Nice one

Priceless :win:

My mate is a big VW fan and a massive petrolhead.

I took him out in my CRX VTEC last year and he loved it. As soon as we go back he posted on his FB page that he'd just been out and experiences VTEC for the first time and fell in love with it!

It amazed me when i first got took a test drive in the Jordan i was buying last year, before that i had only been in a D16Y8 and it didn't do alot for me. Put a massive smile on my face when i was in the Jordan. I came back with it and only went with the intention to look at it in person rather than on photo. Still disappointed in myself for not getting into the Hondas when i was younger. Making up for lost time now building a forged B18 n that

Yeah, i remember my first expierience in my mates 2.2 prelude vti. Ill never forget it. The Fords went out the window on that drive down the A339 Basingstoke in 2004. Been Honda since.:D

Quality. I felt exactly the same. I couldnt believe so much fun had avaided me for so long when in that prelude mentioned above. Thrill a minuite!

There's a guy who I work with atm who likes his euro cars. I'm determined to turn him with the S2000 lol

I dunno if this is a relevant post but what's a turbo VTEC like?

Awesome. I have never looked back and even at low rpm's still puts a huge smile on my face.

Also awesome story. It's a great car to go out in if you have some troubles.

I was exactly the same, coming out of a mk2 golf. Went out in my mates mk2 crx. Instant convert within a week I had a crx!
