On the hunt for a passenger side now

So did Anglesey on Sunday, only changes since last time was a set of tyres, and wow what a difference! first lap i could induce a bit of slide but after that it just felt glued to the ground.

roof was down majority of the weekend including the drive home at night.

Things id like to do before the next

-seats, the standard leather ones just don't offer the support you want.

-bushes, sort need changing and geo doing, people on the forums rave about how the car is after they're done, will be tackling once the weather isn't so damp...

-Brake fluid, done 3 trackdays and still not changed it, have a pot of super blue on my desk waiting to go in, will do the clutch fluid at the same time.

Apart from that the car doesn't want for much more. Will be doing all the maintenance parts and whipping off the bumper and undersealing behind once i get chance.

passenger side rail pooped up on ebay. Not as cheap as i would have hoped but still not full price. Still got both sides less than i'd have paid for one new...

Ordering seats shortly :)

Those photos make me want to book another track day, but need some new OEM bits first.

Nice AP by the way!

my helper let me loose with the scissors and cardboard

Next step is to get them drawn on the computer, print a sample off before making them from Dibond composite board.

Let me know if you fancy making two lots of the side skirts :)
Would you not want the splitter sticking further out the front or is it more of a cosmetic thing?
Chris

i'll be knocking a few sets out once done :) splitter is more of a 'lip/bumper protector. I'll be making bigger ones and a full underbody at a later date ;)

full bill of health with MOT this morning.
Also got these fitted. On buddyclub low rails so sit similar height to originals but grip so much better than slidey leather!

I've been looking at the wasp race splitters from America. Work out quite a lot by the time you have got them over here but damn they look good

Also sourced some trim to finish off the edges. (Green was just so i could see the shape better, final product will be matt black one side/gloss black the other side so i can choose which looks best)

mounted splitter to get a better idea

used original hardware with some washers. worked fine just needs a few small tweaks to make perfect now.

Skirts also having a bit of adjustment for better fitment.

Booked in in June to have the roof sorted. Brand new one in black, was never a fan of the Blue!

changed brake and clutch fluid for super blue, old stuff was like poo water. Shifts feel much less notchy now. Brakes weren't bad before but have done for sake of anyway.
