OuFor Sale: 1999 CW Ek9 - S472 XDP
Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Price: £5800 No offers

Hi All,
Time has come for me to sell my beloved EK9. I have owned XDP for the last 4 years and had nothing but absolute fun with it. It’s been a dream to drive, own and maintain.
The car has always been run on V power, with regular oil, filter and gearbox oil changes every 5000miles. Castrol 10w-40 engine oil and OEM Honda gearbox oil
The car has been serviced and maintained by myself over the past 4 years with no expense spared (I even get staff discount at my local Honda dealership now)
In May this year the whole car was stripped down to a bare shell as I wanted to ensure the underneath of the car looked as good as the shell itself. Suspension, sub frame, engine, fuel tank, trailing arms, exhaust, and bumper bars etc were all taken off ready for the cleaning. Cleaned with thinners and a rag until spotless, let dry then started with three coats of rust stopper with an hour’s drying time in between. Next came 3 coats of zinc primer painted on with a brush and 2 hours drying time in between. Finally 3 coats of chassis black again painted on with a brush and 2 hours drying time in between. Engine bay was stripped and painted in CW 3 coats and 3 coats of lacquer then everything cleaned and re fitted.
Imported in June 2008 with Speedo converted to MPH and limiter removed
I am the second owner of the car, first only owning it for 4 months
All import/registration docs kept safe in a folder
Completely standard car upon purchase
Car has been religiously cleaned, polished and waxed every week at least once if not twice or even three times

Taxed till december 2012
MOT till june 2013

hi mate,
this is just what im looking for.
only concerns are the lack of power steering and abs as it would be my daily. do you have these parts ready to be reinstalled if need be?
also do you have the interior for the rear?

Hi mate,

i use this as my daily and its fine, bit tough parking in tight spaces but other than that its perfect, much more feed back

I have the abs unit ect but not the power steering parts, i will double check though
And no rear interior sorry

Thanks

Cool, thanks for getting back to me. Stock b18cr? Other than bolt ons?
Like the fact you've Sorted the underside.

Yeah stock except the parts ive mentioned
Yeah its something that needs doing in my eyes

Thanks

Okay. May be in touch soon.

Jesse888 - ok thanks

Stokes - I'm totally undecided at the minute if i'm honest, couple of the top of my head Evo6, Evo8, Hawkeye STI, Sunny GTIr, S2000, Lancia Delta, Mazda 3mps, Mazda 6mps, RX7,

I just can't decide!

I have an s2000 for sale If that helps your decision? Lol

Hmm PS delete is something I had considered, but I have the same concerns as Jesse nice to know you can live with it though :).

Looks like a well cared for motor GLWS.
(nice list of possible replacements too haha good luck choosing)

Oh wow.. Really clean! Glws man! Hope she goes to a good home

Just read this advert and realised this is my old car! I remember meeting you at the services to swap your EP3! Lol.

Completely different to when I had it (for all four months :s) but still loved it for that time. Glad it went to a good home

T33sda - oh wow! Didnt realise you were still on here, long time man. Yeah few little touches, glad you like it :)

Interested in this, need to shift s2k first. Unless you take a part ex?

Such a well modified 9. Good luck with the sale man! Well worth the money.

Jesse888 - I think I'm leaning more towards the turbocharged car's but thanks for the offer anyways
