Will be going to look at a 9 soon but having never owned one im wondering do the rear plastics have any access point to check the inside rear arches or is it a case of the whole plastic needs to come off?

Is there anything i need to lookout for besides the usual? are there any places they like to rust?

Whats the current value of good condition RX with say 150kms on it?

:nice:

To have a look at the inner rear arches you can remove the speaker covers (which have philips head screws) and shine a torch in, and you can also see part of them from the tail lamp access holes.

9s generally aren't as rusty as UK models, but the main places to check are indeed the rear arches, the engine bay and if you can, the underside of the car, mainly the rear.

Can't really help on the value front, rare to see Rx's for sale, but the price of 9s generally is around about £5-7k at the moment, unless buying from a dealer where it'll be a bit dearer.

ok cheers for the tips, good to know you can check the inner arches without taking the whole plastics out

anyone know a rough estimate for a good condition RX model with under 100k miles on it?

Ive got an rx model with 171k kilometres on mine, that's was slighty over 6k. My ek9 is rust free :)

cool, so how rare are RX's? and are they stamped RX on the vin plate?

what would be its value if it came without the engine, box and ecu... im guessing about £3000, that too low or high?
