got a problem with leaky boot can cant find where the hell its coming from. it seems to be coming out the actual boot skin, basically when I open the boot up quite alot of water starts dripping out already sealed up the the lights & changed the gaskets, took off the boot spoiler sealed that only entry into the boot area. any chance it could be coming through plastic that the licience plate screws onto ?

I had the same problem with my evo 6, the only way i found the leak was to empty the boot, climb in with a good torch and close the boot tight, then get someone to wet the boot of the car with a hose until you find were its coming in, this might sound stupid but i found the leak within 30seconds.

Best way to find the problem mate, just make sure your not claustrophobic lol

My coupe leaked at the seams inside the boot shut between the seal around the inside of the boot and the lip of the rear arch. I just spread sealant along the inside and was fine then.

Mines leaked at the bottom corners of the rear window,the number plate recess (because someone had driller holes in it and gone through the inner boot skin,the boot seal was dodgey too so got a genuine Honda one,and after all this it still leaked! Where the boot seal goes onto the body at the bottom,where two panels meet,there's a seen and it was trickling through there. Not had a problem since. Tiger seal everything! Haha

Mine was leaking from the rear window seal.
I bought Captain Tolleys Instant Crack Cure (lol) and covered the window seal etc and its still going strong

It's common problem, My EJ8 Coupe has this problem too, its a pain in winter with the condensation I have found short term solution and that is cover the boot with tarpaulin.
I have tried silicon on the areas but rain water still leaks. Best thing to do Identify where leaks are coming from and get it welded. I have a pictures that will help you locate the source. For me it seems to be under the corner of rear window.
