Looking for a TODA flywheel for my B16B Anyone know where I can go or have one around? would prefer new but if slightly used I will have a look.

Thanks

why does it have to be toda? I know some are made better than others but still, not like your going to be able to see it.

Toda flywheels can be hard to come by.

I snapped mines up instantly when it was on sale.

MFactory make decent flywheels as well. I'd recommend staying away from aluminium flywheels personally. Use price as a guidance...

Has anyone had experience with MFactory vs Fidanza?

It don't have to be toda but I heard good things about it obviously. but I haven't got a big build going on and quite a price difference so would look into the two above :) many good views on the Fidanza but havent seen much about MFactory.... anyone got any info to share for me?

also I know its not in the right thread but would a OEM clutch be alright on them or shall I go for Exedy?

Thanks for the reply's

I've the M factory flywheel in my 9, done about 10,000 miles with no issues. Got it in a group buy and the quality of it was great. the OEM clutch is perfectly fine unless your putting down alot more power.

MFactory... Any day of the week.

I have a fidenza on my b18c and there awesome for the money. Oem clutch all the way unless going for some serious power

I have fidenza aswell, can't say its caused any issues so far.
Revs nicely

What are the pro's and cons of having a lighten flywheel ???

There are so many things covering this if you type into Google but basically the

Cons are that the revs drop faster so makes ever day driving sometimes a pain (8/10 people say they don't mind at all as its not hard to compensate) also its essayer to stall... but if you can drive this won't be a issue lol and when going up hills you need to rev up a little more as the flywheel slows down faster as well as speed up but also no one has ever had a issue with that that i have seen.

Pros are better response and revs build up faster meaning better acceleration would be nice to have when you put your put down out of a corner.

But have a search I don't know a great deal just things I have read

Ok I will have to have a good think and do some researching on what people think of MFactory over fidenza as theres so many fidenza opinions but not many MFactory :/

Will probs be coming to you again Tegiwa lol wait for mail ;)

Cheers for the help if I see a good Toda around might still have to buy though ;)

the reason there arent many M-factory opinions is that its easier and probably cheaper to get the fidanza ones. IMO sometimes its better to spend a little more on some parts, purely for peace of mind.

IMO on something like a flywheel paying over the odds is just brand whoring.
Something more complex like coilovers, turbo kits etc then I would probably pay a fair bit more for decent brand.

imo there are no cons to lightened flywheel, you dont notice the revs dropping at all.

i didnt no today flywheels were that price, i have one in my eg9 have had so many people askin me to sell it:)

^^^ until an unbalance flywheel disintergrates and comes out through the front of your car.. lol

Flys through the bonnet lol
Seriously though find me one person with a Fidenza or m-factory that isn't happy with it or has had issues?
