Looking to start track time in a few weeks, we have a "Civic Cup" EK9 and looking at options for wets as the weather is pretty unpredictable.

Just wonder what everyone else is using, in damp or wet conditions?

We have a newish set of R888's but i know on standing water there no good, but in damp conditions once they have heat in them there not bad.

Other options are:

Kumho KU36 (Have these on the road EK9 and on the road in the wet they are very good imo)
AD08s

Any other options?

Cheers
Jay

why not just use some R1R?
wet patern of the r888!

i've use them before my current AD08, and they are perfect on wet ... i miss these so much

Just damp not much in it, I favour the V70a, for all out wet none of the semi slicks are great, certainly not in standing water, best off with a fast road tyre with deep grooves, Federal RSR, the new Nankang NS2R, will be trying the latter for wets this year.

I really like the R888's in wet when the tyre is still relatively new.
