i know UK price's are high for fuel but usa is rising A LOT in past few years, anyways stock ek9 you should get about 24mpg thats about what i used to get and thats driving it hard every now and then.

turbocharged is another story, it really depends on the power level and the tune, but for example my 333whp setup can easily burn 1/4 tank in 5 minutes of showing off  but if i drive normal i should get about 20-25mpg.

So the myth that says that turbo consumes "alot" fuel is just a myth? I thought no matter how you drive it's the same, but I guess the huge torque is enough to push you ahead without too much burning with just a stroke of the pedal isn't it?
Vtec can burn a lot of fuel in 5 minutes of showing off as well :drive:

well i have a big turbo so if i drive normal the turbo dosent spool, so its like im NA :nice: but if you have a small turbo that spools during normal driving then yes your fuel economy will suffer greatly.

Ours is not bad at all when driving normal (below 4500 rpm), when you want to make the most of the car it does start to drink the petrol quite a bit more, what Blinx has seems about right.

How many Turbo EK9's are there in the UK?

i sold that guy from dundee that car,it was mine before he got hold of it,was better when i had it:) he put silly stickers n stuff on and stripped it out.
