Underbody Damage - How does it affect ?

Hi.

Right side , at the beggining of the door just underneath.
My k9 has an underbody damage by the previous owner , probably hit underneath on a pavement. Its got a crack of about 8-10cm.
Can this be fixed , does it affect the car handling etc ? Can it grow to a larger scale and cause more problems ?
Unfortunately i dont have a pic to show the affected area.

A crack? A bend I can imagine but not a crack. Underneath that plastic are the sills which can easily be patched up. Though I'm no chassis guru I am sure that it wouldn't effect handling whatsoever.

A bend and a crack !
Defo needs to go and patched up i guess. .. ;p

Yeah a simple fix just a case of welding the crack up. At very worst it may require jig or doser to remove bend.
