valve clearence

what is the ek9 valve lash clearance?
the b16a is
(IN) 0.17mm±0.02
(EX) 0.19mm±0.02

are these the same as ek9 b16b?

also maybe some could put together such a list as would be very helpfull? maybee even make it a sticky

Ahh well, i couldnt find out the exact valve clearance's for the 6B, however the DC2 ITR is exactly the same as the B16A2's - thus i deduced the 6B to be the same.

Ive set mine to that and they seam fine

she's a bit tapety after intial start, set them and still a little so ill try set again, other than than conversion is fine, oh except a weird idle but im blaming that on stock b16a2 ecu

hmmm, thats the problem, you should try with another ecu, since the stock b16a2 ecu may have some different fuel maps. good luck! post pictures of your swap if you have some!

the swap went fine bedded it in and gradually brought her into the vtec after about 30 miles of vtecs up to 6500rpm she went pop!!!

the head i baught was off an ek9110 (complete head) engine had water damage but i rebuilt it and it lookeed fine, but valve head broke and now brand new spoon pistons, b16a2 block and all my valves and bottom of head nice and worked over ill post pics soon its fair damage:-(

sorry to hear that! how much time is going to take to fix that?

the head and bloack are gone, all i can save is bothe headers and cams and springs!!! so prob going to put car back to stock and sell it all seperate, and save for the proper thing ha ha
