VSS wire colours????

I am refitting my speed convertor at the gearbox/VSS end.

Can anyone confirm which colour wires are which befor i start testing them???

All instructions on hear say the wires are-
yellow/white = signal wire
blue/yellow = 12v ing live
black = earth

What i have on my loom is-
blue/white = ???
yellow/black = ???
black = earth

Hi Jim!

Changed things round a bit then.

I know that the blue and white wire is the signal wire on the ECU so I guess should be the same at the VSS end.

I'm sure someone will confirm this.

Yeah I did end up changing it around, thinking about it now I could have left it how it was!

O well it is now fitted at the gearbox end & working!

I can confirm that-

Blue/white = signal
Yellow/black = 12v
Black = earth
