Some older members on here may remember my vtec mini build,

Anyway it's been on hold for a while but recently started work on the project again,

This is how it looks at moment

Watsons front conversion subframe and shafts

Not sure on the weight, hopefully less than 700 kg:nice:

I think I used to have a thread on there but not been on in ages, a lot of really rough builds on there, but also a few nice ones

Yeah front end is 2 piece and will be held on with pins:nice:
 
Awesome. My mate is building one now.. Well i say now he's been doing it for the last 4 years lol. B16 turbo, 4wd with nos.. Should be fun!

Ah I see. Yeah lots on there! Nice yellow one up for sale atm if only I had the space and the money!

Cool makes sense that way, much easier working on it then. Have you modified the front to cover the bottom of the frame? (does look like you have) Seems to get over looked with the watson frame.

Need to get fixing my Mini up! Its way too rusty mind. Plus no garage doesn't help.

Looks like you got a nice bit of space to work. Is the mini going to be purely for track outings?
 
Ufft id say this will litteraly fly with the spec you're planning :nerv: . Awsome build mate will be watching this!

Yeah I made a couple of cuts in to it, pulled it in to position clamped it the re fibreglassed the gaps up,

Yeah mate good size garage helps a lot couldn't live with out it! Car will be used for messing around and mabey the odd track day,

He doesn't use forums, i will try and get some pics when im down the garage tonight.
 
Wow, that thing must be very fast and a bit scary to drive, amazing platform, project and setup.
