What would the GTI Handling Characteristics be compared to? against a type r's? or SIR's? (EG6, EF8)? the MK2 is such a claasic. Even the owner of Spoon owns one himself and preserves it!

I found out that in Britain (the track called Castle Combe) the GTI MKII 8V engine ran a 1:23.9 (pre 1999) and that the FD2 ran a 1:24.6 (wet). Does this look right? Is the MK II chassis that good?

in case those who didnt know this is what came up when i tryed to look up the track
