We need you help to bring fuel down


we need to try something because its only going to get worse!
 
we as in who? The chances of getting enough people together to actually make a difference to somethin like this are zero.
 
we are having the same issue in the states, whether certain states have higher or no taxes at all, it doesnt matter because our dollar amount/ our economy sucks right now, so gas is going to be ridiculously high. Blame the oil companies, and whats to stop them, You want to really lower it, stop driving. As long as theres people driving their cars, people will pay whatever it is to put gas in my car, simple physics of supply/demand. Im filling up my civic, its costing me $45 dollars to fill up a CIVIC cmon lol anyways good luck on your side, well need it over here.
 
I'm in the wrong country for this :(

It cost me $36 last time for ~ 8.5 gallons of Premium. it was $4.19 a gallon. I remember when $20 of the cheap **** filled my old EJ1 up for the most part and I could run for 2 weeks on it.
 
Love it when the americans feel they pay too much for gas.

Come to norway, and spend $2.75 pr liter.
600nok = 120 usd to fill my civic up.

Didn't know the price in GB was that high, tho
 
oh now that's a bitch. My area of Tennessee is the highest.
 
went through to edinburgh last night and seen diesel for £1.31 a litre haha thats madness ! so thats $2.58 american dollars a litre.:angry: shocking !

lol i wish i was paying your rate. In NY im fcuked any which way I go, But i do have a sort of relieve, Im about 45 mins from the jersey borderline so when im down that way I fill up as much as possible, as you can see its green all the way, but damn, how can we say anything under $3.69 is a deal, WTF i want my $1.75 back lol

And yes I knew overseas pays too much for fuel ever since back in the day, but I believe your cost of living is alot different from us as well, your govt just **** your poor souls out of everything, We in america just get it our way, except getting fancy imports like the type r :)

Just think, dont you have that crappy united health care?, you dont have to pay for that, meanwhile i pay a fortune for health benefits that **knock on wood** never use, i think America would flip though if that got introduced over here, having the same health care coverage as the bum down the street would upset me some

Plus I believe ya'lls pay is higher on average than the US. I make a meager $6 an hour working 22-25 hours a week so $4.19 a gallon for Premium sucks (my average weekly paycheck is $120).

And looking at that map again, it says my county pays higher overall but my town supposedly has lower prices....... bullshit. It's always more expensive here than most than other towns. But within the town, prices vary. I passed a Kroger station today that was only $4.09 for premium but my favorite station on the other side of town is $4.19 (Texaco). Like hell I'm puttin Kroger gas in though. I'm never puttin anything other than Texaco or Shell in it ever again after my little problem with Exxon. That **** gas made my car run like hell. Never again. Either Shell V-Power or Texaco Premium + Techron.

i dont have a shell in NY believe it or not, I think theres one in NJ but those shell stations you have to hunt down. They go out of business too fast with all the other gas stations selling gas cheaper, no one here knows the difference of good gas and bad gas
 
Wouldnt know much about our National Health Service....i pay to go private (Thank ****! ;))

Nah its a great system but is over subscribed in my opinion!

The funny thing is, there isnt a shortage of fuel at all, its just speculators driving the prices up so they can make a few pennies, we now have the technology to turn the oil shale in canada and south america into oil and can be done for around $60 per barrell and the amount there is equal to the amount weve used since industrilisation.... or so ive been told....lol always a chance ive been fed bullshit!


Plus theyve found out the north sea oil and gas reserves are supposed to be 25 times bigger than they thought arnt they?

Our fuel suppliers at work have summed it up on the phone to us 'Someone somewhere is getting very rich and its not us!"


Tbph, the many petitions on the web probs wont do anything, but then again, the lorry blockades wont do anything probably but were on the verge of sending our wagons down to london aswell, just to do something so ill sign it when i get 2 secs :)



Oh and the americans have actually taken it pretty hard in comparison, as in there % increase compared to the original is higher than ours,

either way, were all being ****ed!

yea i know gas companies are screwing with us, i saw a mobil yesterday selling their gas for $3.70 as a one day sale so they obviously have the power to lower whenever they want. Plus i heard the price per barrel decreased as well the other day so why arent prices going down.
