Hello,
I am new to this forum and its not that much time since I owned a B16b, I did a full swap of my civic 2000 Lxi with an EK9 that I dunno which year make is it (97-98), the car ran fine, very fast and powerfull, and sounds really amazing...after a couple of months I noticed an oil leakage near the vtech solenoid and a signs of oil vapor new the oil cover and the spark plugs...here is what happened..
It all started when I took my Honda to Honda company to check the engine because of an oil leakage near the V-tech solenoid, they said that they don't have the needed part for that leakage, its whether the distributor o-ring or the cam seal, anyways, they put some silicone as an attempt to stop the leakage, but I didn't have time to test that yet cause the sound started like the next day, which is today btw..
They said that it is normal to see the oil vapor even though I don't think it is, but I don't trust them very well here in Jordan even if they are Honda Service Center.
So, I am posting a video of the engine, for you to see,,,,
Maybe it was a bad idea letting them remove the cam cover and check the leakage!! :S:S:S
Please help me know what to do...thanks
